Calendar

Calendar description:

A year consists of 16 months. 12 of which belong to 4 seasons and 4 are called transitional. Each month has 30 days in total of 480 days in a year.

While recording the date are two diffferent calendars:

The Imperial: After Osdayne or AO with current date 1871 AO

The New Calendar: After Emperor's Death or AED with current date 49 AED

Months:

Rebirth

1. Astamere (Istgron): The First Green. The start of seeding the fields, The days became larger. The first month of the year. It was renamed from Istgron to Astamere the Empror's 1st son.

2. Bloomwald: The First Bloom, The month celebrating birth and fertility. When the Lady got Lost in the Wilds. The Festival of masks in Hyvere and the Moonwalk in Bratistov. Birds come from the south.

 3. Seawind: The salts. The eastern Wind blows and the smell of sea reaches the western most areas of the map. Celebrations of sea and seafare to most of coastal cities.

4. Icardus ( Warmbrocther or Helios): Transition from Rebirth to Sunbloom. The days grow even larger and hotter. The month that the 1st King of Icardia gathered the families of Icardus and marched south. The tribute of fallen men.

5. Dustorn: The Dusts. The South Sand storms begin and the dusts reach far north with heat and dry air.

6. Cathartis: The cleansing. The await of crops. the stilness. The month that citizens of the world clean from the Dusts and prepair for the hotter days their homes and crops. The Great Cleansing Festival.

7. Osdayne ( Lightscorch): The great light, THe festival of Light is held honouring the emperors. The largest days of the year. Named after the 1st Emperor

8. Greytear: Transition from Sunbloom to Leaf Fall. Days get smaller, The First rain. the month of Harvest. The Festival of Fields.

Leaf Fall

9. Rotwald: The 1st Red Leaves. Colder days. The beginning of death. Day of Death in 22 of that month.

10. Victoran (Langre): The gloom. The start of cloudy days untill Astamere. When the empire managed to imprison the spirit of the Jackal. VIctory day at the 29 of the month. The Festival of Wine in Iargos.
11. Skyldr: The Last Harvests, Most of leaves have fallen, Seeding and Cleaning.

12. Heist: Transition from Leaf Fall to Frostfell. The SIlence before Frostfell. Cold is stronger, Hail and winds are stronger. All storage of products occurs. Birds leave to the south.

Frostfell

13. Istsnaer: The First Snow, smaller days, larger nights, the month of home cleaning and preparation for the colds.

14. Serpentus: The cold, the month when the green serpent appears on the sky. Lion Clad festival is held.

15. Agarfross (Frostmourn): The fierce cold, the month of cold. When the barbarians invaded. The name of their chieften is honoured in the name of the month.

16. Sanctuary: Transition from Frostfell to Rebirth. The last colds, the great melts, the last month of the year. The Last of Past Festival.
