Overview: 

The town by the rule of Black Raven has lost much of its former glory. The large leather workings by the stream are ruined and the Masters enslaved or dead. The large fields filled with weeds and stones, the mills broken and empty.

The populace survives on the edge of poverty and slavery. Taxes and violence are the prize of heavy labor, death is to sloth. Those in exception are those in Black Raven's Service. His guards, his bounty hunters, his slavers, his slavers and traders his innkeeper and the brothel masters. All theses cherish in lower taxes and help one an other to serve their ringleader's best interests.

Those that are somewhat of an elite are the raiders, handpicked warriors who attack Bratistovian caravans and settlements and bring back loot, food wine and slaves.

Places of Notice:

The Laughing Goose Inn: This large building is the heart of Zartistov. Ale, women and gambling takes place here among the worst folk of the world. Bandits, thieves, shady merchants and slavers drink, fight and fuck in joy. Jack the Black is the innkeeper and the main informative of the Black Raven. Nothing that is said or done there doesn't reach his ears.

Barracks: Where the city guard resides. Fierce men loyal to Black Raven are given arms in order to control fiercer men around the city. Their sheriff is Sol Jae a fine swordsman and ruthless drinker.

Slave Pens: Where slaves are kept during the night.

Black Raven's Mansion: Where the lord of this town lives. Few are those that have met him personally.

Market Place: Where traders gather and sell their goods. There are Slavers selling slaves and slaves selling everyday things from pottery to tools all of crude quality. Sometimes off-town traders appear to sell more exquisite stuff much needed by Black Raven's Raiders. There is also a blacksmith that sells weapons and armor of crude quality, repairs tools and mounts horseshoes.
